may 21st was a big day for us this year, particularly amelia. she had her final soccer game, her summer revue, and her preschool program all in the same day... and so jeremy's birthday kinda got put on the back burner.
(birthday breakfast, where i instigated a happy birthday song by a large group of waiters to completely embarrass j. the girls loved it!)
(I helped amelia change into her leotard and did her makeup in the car, from soccer to dance)
(and curled her hair right before her performance, with 5 minutes to spare. I felt a little bit like a crazy person.)
(best friend brookie, who also had a dance performance earlier that day!)
(amelia has adored ms. holly, who helped her gain so many social skills and confidence in herself. the preschool program was adorable; I loved watching amelia sing and dance confidently! ms. holly handed out certificates at the end and announced what each child had stated they wanted to be when they grew up-- amelia wanted to be a doctor!!)
(we had originally invited the whole family out to dinner for j, but then decided that we would be exhausted after a full day of cheering on our babe. we opted for a quiet dinner, just the two of us. we talked about our past and of our future. 32, and time isn't slowing down! I can't imagine parenting and growing our family with anyone else. I love you so much, j!)
