we headed to thanksgiving point on a random evening for the tulip festival. we got lost, and amelia wandered into the cute little farm area... it was such a sweet surprise for us, to just go with the flow + watch amelia tell us about all the animals. we got a stamped penny for amelia and thought it would be fun to start a tradition of getting souvenir pennies whereever we go for the babes and leave in a "family piggy bank"? it was such a quaint little area, and we ended up just driving to the gardens and looking at the tulips while i nursed scarlett. what a sweet evening to remember!
Ha we got lost when we tried going to the tulip festival too! It's way confusing. There are signs but they're not great. You have to keep going straight after you get off the freeway and not turn left at that light after the freeway exit. So confusing. We finally found "the gardens" where the festival was and was blown away by the entrance price per person! So we ended up enjoying and taking pictures with the tulips along the walkway to the entrance building to the gardens haha.
