loveland aquarium in october

(we have a running joke that the aquarium only puts the macaws out when jer isn't with us. we've had aquarium memberships for 2 years now, and jer still hasn't seen a macaw there!)

it's definitely a first world problem, but the aquarium has been a bit dull for the girls (mostly amelia) lately. we use to go at least twice a week, but lately it's been probably once a month. anyway, when i convinced the girls to go these two times in october, the animals were ALIVE. you can probably tell by my pictures that the girls have a few favorite exhibits-- the rain-forest (turtles/caimen, anaconda, macaws), the penguins, the sharks (not pictured) and of course tuki's island, where both girls run to their heart's content. i'm hoping we get a few more visits in before our membership expires next may... hopefully these last couple visits excited the girls again!
