looks like we're moving along quite well-- we're halfway through week 9! we had our first ob appointment today and saw your heartbeat via ultrasound. scarlett was pretty impatient through the entire appointment, but sat still enough to watch your little debut. usually the first ultrasound makes the pregnancy seem "more real," yet i've been dreaming up next summer with you for quite some time. dr. thackeray supplied some diclegis for me to sample for the my nausea/vomiting; hopefully this will ease my symptoms. also, a new blood test has come out since i was pregnant with scarlett, where we can find out the sex of the baby through mom's blood as early as 10 weeks! as excited as we are to know what you are, i think we'll just wait until the traditional 16 weeks and do a balloon reveal for your sisters. life with 3 babes-- i can't wait, and i'm also grateful for 31 more weeks to adjust to the idea.
