dear evelyn,

i've been feeling great this week-- somehow i feel like i've grown into our bump (whereas before it felt a bit awkward and like i needed to waddle around). we've been sleeping comfortably, only waking up for potty breaks. i got rid of belly pillows a while ago and have never looked back! also, last week we discovered heartburn. not the burning in your chest/throat area like i had assumed heartburn was, but the achy, right in the center of your chest/sternum pain that was moderately alarming. i discussed possibilities with my doctor and pharmacist and have started taking pepcid nightly for relief, but refused the gi ultrasound.

as for our 25 week ob appointment with dr. thackeray, we're measuring perfectly at 25 cm and 150 for your fht's (you kicked 3 times during the few moments we listened to you). he reminded us that our next appointment will be our last every 4 week appointment, and we'll begin every 2 weeks! so interesting how fast this pregnancy has flown! we're down to the last weeks before 3rd trimester and home stretch!!!!!!

i love the way scarlett says your name and the way amelia constantly asks if you're kicking. daddy was so excited to feel you roll a limb across my belly.
