Dear Scarlett Anne,
I think the "nesting stage" has finally kicked in. Not exactly sure though, since I'm still pretty laid back. Second baby probs, right? I've started cleaning the whole house and adding lists of what to do before you get here. Like freezer meals? That was pretty useful the first time around! Daddy finished painting your nursery this week, and as a result has a terribly sore back. The walls turned out beautifully, and I can't wait to place everything together and wash your sweet little newborn onesies! Maybe next week?
I've scheduled an activity practically every day and every night until 39 weeks to keep myself from going crazy. I think it's going to be a lovely December, and I can hardly wait to find out when you decide to come! Daddy took us out to lunch on Monday, we mailed out Christmas cards, and walked around the temple and got white hot chocolates afterwards! We visited the train at South Towne Mall with Aunt Collette and Remy on Tuesday, took pictures with Santa, and got our Christmas tree up! On Wednesday, we played with your cousin Remy, sold our black rocking chair for $15 more than what we paid for (score!), and celebrated cousin Kohen's birthday! Today, we were pronounced 2 cm dilated & 70% effaced (no change) at our appointment with Dr. Thackerary, and strolled around temple square to see the beautiful lights (a favorite Christmas tradition of mine). We'll be working tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday, and you'll be 37 weeks! That's full term, baby!
Can't wait to meet you in 25 days or less,
Mom
